When it's time to leave the practice of law we all need an exit strategy. Closing your practice requires advance planning and careful consideration of you client's needs. In this webinar Ms. Mittelman will cover the creation of a timeline and a checklist to insure that you are doing all that is necessary ethically and practically. She will discuss the specific rules of professional conduct that should guide you as you wrap up your practice.
The program will feature:
Jenny K. Mittelman is Deputy General Counsel for the State Bar of Georgia. Ms. Mittelman went to work in the Office of the General Counsel of the State Bar in 1989 after working for the Atlanta Legal Aid Society. A native of Richmond, Virginia, Ms. Mittelman is a graduate of the University of Virginia and Emory University School of Law. Ms. Mittelman is an adjunct professor at Georgia State University School of Law where she teaches Professional Responsibility. She is astonished to report that she is starting to think about retirement.
